This is a comparison report of Chinese and European entrepreneurs. It studies how, despite their very different historical, cultural and political contexts, they are more similar than they are different.
Some of the main conclusions are that the 57% of the new European companies are based on the traditional sectors and industries, meanwhile in China, the 55% of the new companies are Internet oriented. In terms of ownership and source of capital, the 75% of the new ventures in China are private enterprises, in Europe they are a 57%.
The study wants to help global educators to standardize the teaching of entrepreneurship and leadership, and it also wants to enrich the idea of how startups contribute to growth.
